Situated in the heart of Powys in the small village of Llanbrynmair, Wynnstay House Bed & Breakfast is ideally placed for exploring the beautifully scenic mid Wales area.
Wynnstay house is in fact the old post office of Llanbrynmair and dates back to the late 1800’s. The original centre of the village is Llan where you will find the church of St Mary.
All our rooms are tastefully decorated with views of the local mountain range and rolling hills.
Geographically, the community includes the valleys of three rivers and the surrounding mountain ranges, the three rivers join around the main village area before flowing westward towards Afon Dyfi and Cardigan Bay.
Local attractions include, Glyndŵr's Way which is 135 miles long, a section of which runs between Machynlleth and Llanbrynmair, it is one of Wales three designated National Trails which is right on our door step, the ancient capital of Wales, Machynlleth is only 12 miles away and within a short drive you will also find attractions such as the Centre for Alternative Technology, King Arthur’s Labyrnth and the Corris Railway, all well worth a visit with or without children.
