Llanbrynmair although small in population terms is in fact the second largest area wise in Powys, in 2011 the population was only 959, so if you are looking for peace and quiet you have found the right place.

Geographically, the community includes the valleys of three rivers and the surrounding mountain ranges, the three rivers join around the main village area before flowing westward towards Afon Dyfi and Cardigan Bay.
